The History of Speed-E'z Exchange

Speed-E'z is a privately owned enterprise formed in May 1994

Our founder, JoAnn Browne is a native of San Antonio, Texas and has worked for many years with the Baptist Health System as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Since forming Speed-E'z she is providing after hours service for a very large percentage of the physicians and medical related businesses in San Antonio and is now expanding to surrounding cities. Mrs. Browne serves her community as the Youth Service & Literacy Officer for the Northwest Rotary Club and is the Youth Director for St. Anthony's Catholic High School Interact Club.

We purchased the Startel Communications System, a state-of-the-art solution, to permit us to provide excellent service and support for our clients messaging and voice mail needs. All of our systems have mirrored drives (duplicate storage) and we maintain a back up generator in the event of a power outage. Along with many other features of the Startel System, clients can log in to their accounts to view or print messages or even change on-call information at a secure site on line.

Our telephone secretaries are very articulate and trained to answer calls with caring and utmost professionalism in their voices—just as they would want to experience when trying to get in touch with their own healthcare providers. Our quality assurance program includes voice recording all conversations to assure that our operators are always performing at the top level of their field.
